Policeman’s Flats Access Site

We have provided and accomplished the following in the last 8 years.

• Provide garbage pick up and outhouses during the summer season

• Completed an $80,000 project to improve the access road with interlocking concrete pads

• Improved signage at the site

• Permit application for the removal of the dangerous rocks at the entrance of the lagoon after the last flooding event.

• Host bi-annual cleanup events to remove garbage and nails left from non-permitted fires.

• Installed a gate for high water events of the need for a closure

• Banded trees to prevent damage from Beavers

• Hosted a wildlife cameras by the Calgary Connect Project

• Removal days for invasive species such as Common Tansy
